Savannah, Georgia is a southern gem and it's also home to one of our co-founders! This effortless city is the perfect destination for a bachelorette weekend for brides who appreciate a beautiful backdrop filled with nature and historic charm and who's ready to explore a bit of mystery. You'll get to relax with the girlies, take in the views, indulge in Lowcountry delicacies, and uncover what makes Savannah truly enchanting. đź‘»

Where to stay:

Look for a house or hotel between Oglethorpe Ave and River Street to maintain walking distance to all the restaurants and bars you'll be exploring during your time here. For the most authentic experience, we recommend renting a home on VRBO or Airbnb. You'll find the most charming craft homes and timeless brownstones with spacious rooms to accommodate the whole bachelorette party.

If hotels are more of your thing, we'd recommend staying at one of these for a luxury escape that's close to all of the hot spots.

Things to do:

  • Book a ghost tour
    • This is a must-do if you're interested in the supernatural and want to explore Savannah's haunted history. If you're doing a walking tour (our favorite) just make sure you wear comfortable sneakers and bring bug spray!
  • Picnic in Forsyth Park
    • You will fall in love with the oak trees and Spanish moss in Forsyth Park. Want insta-worthy photos? Make it a luxury picnic setting with The Savannah Picnic Company. They'll transform the setting into a luxury and insta-worthy backdrop with pillows, chairs, flowers, and your choice of food basket.
  • Reconnect with a private yoga session
    • Otium studios offers private and customizable sessions from vinyasa, barre, pilates, and more. You can book the class in studio or on a rooftop terrace.
  • Day trip to Tybee Island
    • Spend a day at the beach on Tybee Island

Where to eat & drink:

Note: These restaurants book up months in advance so make sure you book a reservation.

Note: You cannot order alcohol until 11am in Georgia.

  • Myrtle & Rose Rooftop Bar: Picnic-style rooftop bar with outdoor games and stunning views. Come here during the day or at sunset and dress in summery picnic styles for insta-worthy photos.
  • Arco: Craft cocktails and a classy vibe with river views. They also have tapas if you're looking for a classier pre-game or just a lowkey night.
  • Jen's & Friends: Famous for their speciality martinis. It's a cute spot for a dessert cocktail on one of your chill nights.
  • Electric Moon Skytop Lounge: This is a hot spot for bachelorettes so just note that your party won't be the only bach in the house. If that's ok with you, Electric Moon is a fun stop at the JW for drinks. They even have a slide on the rooftop!
